So I failled smog and tried every trick in the book to pass it still nothing. Anyone in la know a shop that can weld a new cat on for cheap? Thanks in advance guys.

Your in la so would say Castros but I don't know if they do small jobs like that, any competent shop should be able to cut out and weld in a cat

If you failed multiple times and labeled a gross polluter, ask the DMV for some program they offer that pays to get your cat and stuff so you can pass.
It's on the back of your reg. or whatever paper.

Anyways, Castro's or any muffler shop really can get this done!

Its not a gross polluter. Its failling by 300 ish
