Dockweiler 2014: Saturday, January 18th 2pm-Close
Alright gents. I've spoken with a few of the OG's in regard to the Dockweiler meet being pushed to January. I am a fan of this because with Christmas and Archiefest being so close, to plan Dockweiler in that gap wouldn't allow for many people to be able to attend. So, January it is.
As we did last year, we will be conducting things a bit differently than we have in past years. The back to the basics plan will be in full swing.To revert back to why we all went to meets in the first place; to put faces to names and to see those faces that we don't see often enough. No raffles. No giveaways. This is what car meets are all about. Bring your parts you've got for sale or bring cash to buy said parts.
We would like to open the option AND encourage people to bring food to share with everyone else. I can remember back to the first two Dockweilers when people brought a TON of food for everyone and we all had a merry ol time. So in light of this, if you would like to bring anything to the meet, list your name below and next to it, whatever you plan on bringing. For the people who dont have a lot of money, it's not necessary to bring anything but if you would like to, something cheap like some dip and chips would be perfect. ANYTHING HELPS.
I cant say enough about how influential this community has been for myself personally. Its meets like this where I got to know the people I know today that will be in my life forever. Long after the e30 is gone. These people will remain. So, invest some time in this community. You wont regret it.
It's not a show, not an event. It's a meet. Feel free to bring anything from your garage queen to your shitbox daily. It's all good. Here's he info you'll need to know:
