Starting a caravan thread for the East Bay group. Let's get there early so we get legal parking spots. It will also give us time to shine tires, etc. I was thinking of grilling again until it all kicks off, if others want to throw down. Meet point will be at the CVS off Olympic Blvd. in Walnut Creek. This will be a good logistically since there's a nice big parking lot, people taking 680 North/South can get to it both ways, and the entrance for the 24 is literally around the corner.
Meeting up at 8:30am, departing 9:30am sharp.

IMPORTANT
Ok so here's the plan for the driving part of the event:
When we roll out, we will be a BIG group no matter what. We have 70 cars confirmed, and even if half don't come it's still a lot. We don't want ANY negative attention or cops, so if you can't follow some basic rules, PLEASE DO NOT COME WITH US. Either head out before or after, and we will see you there
-On the freeway, we will take the middle 2 lanes. If there are more than 4 lanes, you must leave the fast lane open for people to pass us, and keep the slow lane open so others can exit.
-We will be doing the speed limit, or just above. The goal will be to stay between about 65-75, or however traffic is flowing.
-If someone has a mechanical problem/failure, hit the hazards, and pull to the side carefully. If this happens (hopefully not) I would hope that someone with GPS, or already knows where we are going, please help your fellow enthusiast.
That's about it really, let's just keep this casual and fun, with no 5-0 trouble.
Thanks guys!! Looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday.
