    valve adjustment help. anyone in 805 help please?

    hey guys os i just got a 91 325i, i need my valves adjusted i dont have tools or anything to do it. im willing to drive to you or you can come to me. i can provide beer, herbal remedies or cash. which ever you prefer. 8183073545 thanks

          hmm. i just got an 1989 325i e30 with 177000 miles on it.

          when is a valve adjustment suppose to happen? what ticking noise are you referring to? is it very very audible or somethign you really have to listen for when you are in the car? is it more easily heard at idle outside of the car?

            just take your valve cover off and check them with cold engine, it takes like an hour.

                It should take more like 2 to 3 hours if done correctly and carefully. You'd want to adjust them, then run the feeler over all of them to double check.

                OP this is a relatively simple job if you have the correct guidance and and numbers to work with.
