    NorCal e30 paint job hookups

Hey guys I have a late model white e30. The paint is starting to fade on it and I am considering a paint job this summer when I have some money.

I'm wondering if anyone has a hookup or knows someone that does quality paint for a decent price. I am looking for a single stage as I can't afford the 2 stage paint job. The car is white and I am looking to paint it white. Just the outside. No doorjambs or engine/trunk whatever.

The body is good so let's assume there is no work needed other than prep and paint.

    Thanks.

Fade or clearcoat peal? If it is pealing, then yeah, check out the thread above.

If it's just fading, don't be lazy. Get yourself a porter cable or cheap random orbital, a thick foam pad, and 3M liquid rubbing compound - all readily available at Pep boys for <$40. Put some work in, then wax that thing.

And to show you I'm not BS'ing, this is not a respray. This is good old fashioned elbow grease, time and know-how..

Yeah dude single stage white is like the easiest color to improve and the original paint will always be better than any paint job you get unless you spent probably 10k or more.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Oliver.r (who's also on here) did a nice stage 1 white paint for my dad's car. I would honestly say that it came out better than what I expected.

Thanks a lot guys. Yeah my paint is just faded, not actually peeling or burning off. I think I will give it a really good wash and wax then polish it with a cheap orbiter that doesn't burn off paint. This saves me a lot of money

I see two yelp listings under this name. Are they located in Huntington Beach? What type of work did you have done? I'm shopping around for a shop that is affordable and can properly match paint as I need a bumper and other plastic trim pieces painted.
