Hey everyone

anyone in socal have an hour or 2 to spare? i will provide 6 pack of your choice :D

i have a 318i
i live in Irvine, CA (orange county)
my car is not running and i ruled that my DME might be the issue.

i wanted to meet to see if i can hook up anyone's existing, fullly functioning DME to my car to see if the car fires up and works...

i want to test it before i invest in a different DME.

I have a 1984 318i and have a problem with my engine as well, when I go to start it after sitting all night it won't turn over and I have to hold my foot on the gas for 3 mins for it to finally be able to hold idle by itself and even then it just idle around 3-400 and wants to die out and can't seem to figure out why :( after about 5 mins of warming up it will idle around 900-1000rpm but as soon as I put the car in reverse or drive it drops to around 300 rpm and will die or barely hold idle. Love my car but super stumped on this starting problem I'd be down to pitch in for someone to look at my car also
