Any Redondo Beach Area Mobile Mechanic / Fellow Wrencher w/ E21 Jetronic CIS Wisdom

Like the Title reads, I'm looking for a Mobile Mechanic or Local Fellow Wrencher to come to my House to Diagnose the Jetronic System on my 79 E21.

I believe I have a Vacuum Leak or some faulty Component in my CIS System.

I unfortunately cannot Diagnose the Problem, but most likely will be able to do the Repairs once I can narrow my Focus.

I just replaced my Fuel Injectors thinking that was my Issue, but it was not.
Perhaps my Problem lies within the Work I did to replace the Fuel Injectors.
Maybe something didn't go back together correctly.

At any rate, I need a second opinion at this point and I don't want to tow it to my Mechanic.

Anybody out there near by that has experience with these Systems?

Let me know. I have Beer. :)

    Thanks.

I just chased a slew of vacuum gremlins on my jetronic m20 e30. I don't really know what I'm doing with that early shit but I'm in redondo and willing to give a second look pro boner.

      I appreciate it.
What was the problem in the end?
I got some mobile mechanic coming to look at it on Saturday for $80.
      Let's see how that goes.

*one* of my issues was that the o-ring on the FPR crapped when I tried to re-use it and was seeping gas/not holding pressure.

So I was told my Volume / Fuel Distributor is at fault.
From what I have read so far, it can be a very expensive part and a bit daring to rebuild.
I am thinking about checking out some at the Junkyard next time I am there, or trying to find one up for sale online.
Perhaps the online Recyclers may have a good deal on one.
Anyone know where I could find one at a reasonable price?
          Thanks.

I would try a junkyard first

Ya, that would be the cheaper option, but probably a riskier one too.
The cars at the yard will probably have the same issue unless it was totaled from behind or something.
But definitely worth a try the first time out.

I removed my Distributor and my Pintle was stuck.
So I used some Carb Cleaner and compressed some air into the inlet on the top of the Distributor and got it to loosen up.
But after I re-installed it, there was no change and the Car still didn't start.

With the help of another Member named 'Ski' who came out to look at the Car, I believe my Issue is not enough Pressure in the System.
I am going to replace the Fuel Pumps, Accumulator, Filter and Lines and see if that helps to correct my Fuel Pressure.
I am also going to replace the WUR while I'm at it.
