R3v's Day Off: Cars & Coffee + Morning Drive Aug 9th [UPDATED WITH MEET LOCAT...

Had severe doubts I'd actually make it to this.

Turns out we are finishing in San Diego earlier than expect and are being moved to Irvine on the 7th for our last job.

    Fate perhaps?
    See you pretties there ;D

huh weird. I guess I've never had trouble because I have a 2-door

But usually it seems that they like e30s. I've seen a couple 4 doors.

I think they do that for cars that aren't that cool. Our e30s are so fresh, they have to let us in.

    February 11, 2014

We arrived at the show just before dawn to ensure we would get a good spot and we were met with some apprehension from the event organizers. When we arrived at the gate the organizers explained that they prefer to keep the meet limited to a select group of cars with the emphasis on pre 2000 coupes. Sedans made after 2000 are suggested to park outside the meet in the Taco Bell over flow lot. After a quick discussion with the organizers they finally let us take the car in.

    The more the merrier

Also I have heard nothing about them restricting coupes or not, but it doesn't sound like something they'd do.

any room for a stock, barely on the road e30?

    if so, i am in.
im also really bad at keeping up on the forums. if possible, PM me if this goes down.
I just have work at 10 am, so caravan and canyon cruising is a no go for me.

last i heard, C&C irvine only accepts coupes now. just a heads up. don't know if this has changed in the past couple months or not.

The top of Hwy 39 is a twisty road to nowhere. It ends at a really scenic lot and on a good day, you can see all of LA. 5000 ft up.

Yeah I don't really care too much about the distance, I've got the whole day blocked off just to drive!

Carbon canyon does sound like fun.
