Z3 Steering Rack Swap in the Bay Area?

Can anyone in the Bay Area do a Z3 Steering rack on a '91 318i with airbag?

The car is located on the island of Alameda in the East Bay Area.

Please PM me if you are willing to do work for some $$!

    Thanks,
    Sina

I would do this but my heater valve just blew and trying to get my exhaust fixed for smog need to focus on my own dirty. You could do it in a day if you committed to it. The most annoying part is notching the firewall.

haven't done the swap but I am pretty mechanically inclined, if you decide to do it yourself and want some free labor I can help you out no problem.

Don't forget to POR15 the firewall where you cut it. Rust is a PITA.
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

I thought you don't need to cut the firewall?

Thanks for the advice, and thanks bdawg!

I would normally tackle this myself, but I am in San Diego and the car is in the Bay Area with my family. :(

'91 he said. Should only need firewall and nothing else.
