Franzini Brothers in the north bay. They are good and have been on a few car restoration TV shows and stuff. Small shop with friendly guys who love cars of all shapes and sizes. I brought some e21 sport seats to them, and ended up talking to the guy for a while about my '86 Toyota truck and my e30.

Bay Area is a huge area to cover. Around my neck of the woods, there are two I have been recommended - Alex Upholstery in Walnut Creek (he's doing my top right now) and Superior Auto & Upholstery in Concord. The latter is well known for doing BMW upholstery and I've seen some of his (impressive) work.
