Bimmerfest 2007 - Santa Barbara, CA

Who is going? What are you bringing?

I will be there... Probably bringing the Sterling M3 and/or the 325is (335is to be) if it doesnt still look like a POS. lol

Should we do anything for the R3V guys to see/recognize eachother?

I'll be there with the Eta and E30 trailer for sure. We'll see what the status of my S50 car is by then, maybe I'll have somebody drive that up too.

im thinking about it with a little more effort this year. i hope my car will be done (went down this past weekend) engine wise. but i would still need suspension and wheels to make it a looker. no sense driving to bimmerfest with a swap and stock suspension and bottlecaps.maybe/hopefully the GF will have her 4dr dialed in a bit also.....might be too much of a drive for her though. i think some of the salem crew might be going.

I use to live 5 mins from the event - trust me, it's not to be missed.

I might drive down. Hopefully (by then) slammed, and with new K1's on.

I have much love for sleepers. No reason not to go just because of that, go have a good time reguardless.

Wish i could attend, but it's on the other side of the country. =\

Too bad it's not the smell of a hole burning in my pocket, gas alone would be in the $500 range.

Plus the fines as soon as i crossed over for not passing emissions. :P

You're not required to pass emissions to drive on California roads, that would be ridiculous.

Only situation where you need to pass emissions is if your car is registered in the state of California.

                        Think about it.

On finding a way to recognize each other. Purchase a r3v sticker (when they are availible, which will be very, VERY soon.) and sport it on your E30 (I'd prefer for everyone to run it in the same area so we know where to look to know if you are down with r3v)

You're required to have a catalytic converter though. :P

Around here no one cares, a buddy of mine even discussed it with a cop, he basically said it's illegal, but no one's going to care enough to check or even think to check.
