Engine bay is looking decent. It took me about 3 cleanings on my 85 just to make it "decent".

At this point we are just going to throw in a standard M30 clutch, which is fine...
The engine bay is allllllllmost lickable. We have a little more cleaning to do before the motor goes back in. Which will be tonight :devil:

Learned today that the E36 M3 clutch will NOT work on the M6 lightweight flywheel. doh.

there seems to be a bunch of "meet up spots" for the PNW crew...To meet with the spokane crew and portland first (wed night or early thursday morn in portland) then we are heading down to the san fran area on thursday...
I plan on leaving seattle a few hours earlier that the main caravan which is planning on leaving around 5pm to portland..( don't want to hit traffic and I have the day off...I plan on making it to salem or eugene on wed then wait for the caravan to catch up to me in southern oregon...then onto the 101 down to san fran...I will post more once I know more...I'm not planning...I'm just a sheep with a head start...

I plan on staying in Cali(san diego) until the following tuesday with friends... I'm just trying to figure out a new way home...I was thinking of vegas, to salt lake city then up the backside of oregon to stop by the nice old guy who sold me the car stock six years ago in north east oregon, then through the tri city's and then back home to seattle... but I might just take I-5 back...

I was planning on meeting up with the Norcal rally? As for accomodations, well I think were gonna rent a campsite somewhere near Santa B for saturday night. Friday night is still up in the air.

So are the PNW guys going to meet up with the NorCal guys cause I think TomPowered and I are going to drive up on friday and meet up with at least the NorCal caravan. I heard that was a blast last year, at least 50+ cars taking over the freeway, always a good time.
