Hmm, so how many of us have two way radios? Especially for those of us that will be caravaning down there? They are pretty much a must. Cell phone chatting is too slow and singularly personal... or whatever. I have two, one that I'll be using and the other is probably already claimed but I'd really suggest going to get a set with sub channels. I have Cobra PR 260-2's and they work great, although the batteries may run short if there's a lot of chatting. Regular AAA's, or maybe I should just find some larger capacity rechargeable ones than the measly 300mAh ones it comes with...

Started thinking about this again because my cell phone got wet and may or may not be completely dead. FYI

so is there a north bay caravan? or is everyone making the first stop in pleasanton?

We are setting up an entirely separate caravan. There is a whole thread on this subject. The E30 caravan will have nothing to do with Pleasanton, and the baybimmerz caravan that will be passing through there. The idea is to keep E30's together, make it more of a community event thing and have as little douchebaggery as possible. The baybimmerz caravan was crazy, and that's why we're doing our own. I urge you to come along with us...it won't be as big, but you also won't get ran over by dumbasses.

Although right here right now, what you need to know is the NORTH BAY people will be meeting up at the Petaluma InNOut at 7:30 SHARP in order to leave at 8:00 at the latest to meet the rest of the bay area in Gilroy at 10.
