Sorry for the short notice. I'm coordinating a donations drive with socale30.com & socale36.com for tonite's Fusion Cafe meet.
I contacted the Salvation Army and inquired on what items are desperately needed. The following items are needed:
-Toiletries
-Blankets & pillows
-Non-perishable items (canned goods)
We will collect the donations tonite and I will bring them down to the Salvation Army tomorrow. I'm gonna try to get Fusion Cafe to collect items starting now until next week and bring the items to the Salvation Army on a daily basis.
The Salvation Army will take monetary donations as well, but I don't want to deal with cash right now. So if you would like to donate cash, you could just make out a check donation payable to "Salvation Army" and make a note on the bottom saying "San Diego Fire Victims". Thanks.
If you can't make a check donation and would still like to donate, please buy some of the items above and bring it down to the meet tonite. Thanks again.

The meet is from 7-9pm tonite. I'll add info on this thread regarding an ongoing donations drive.
