    E30 Meet/Diner @ Bimmerfest! Friday Night

Since Elephant Bar isn't really pulling much interest this year I figured might as well get something put together for the E30 crowd instead. It would be Friday night once we all roll in and rest a bit.

As for where. . .thats where I need some input. Fast food or a restaurant?
Fast food ideas. . .In n Out is always a winner.
Restaurant ideas, Woody's BBQ (best in SB) or El Torito (?)

After diner theres always drinking and chilling to do. Let me know if your down'

I have no idea what is good around the Santa Barbara area for alright but not super expensive dining. InNOut sound's alright, but a step above wouldn't be bad, I can see any nearby InNOut already packed full of other sorts of BMW's too. Something to think about. I'll also have probably had at least one InNOut meal that day in either Gilroy or Atascadero for the E30 drive down there.

I'll see about taking a look at Google Earth and see what's around the area. Better yet though if there are any people that live in the general area, could you suggest something?

Thats a good point about InNOut. The past two years we've gone to Woody's BBQ, its like 5 mins from the Ramada Hotel. EXCELLENT food, huge portions, good price, everyone has seperate orders so no billing issues. Just what I suggest, but BBQ might not be what everyone wants.

            Sounds tasty.

The In N Out next to the Ramada will definitely be packed.

            About a week guys.

Well I'll be hanging out with Matt and the trailer BBQ at some point during the night with whoever else decides to stick around the sandpiper with the rest of us. Hopefully they don't mind a trailer BBQ in their lot. lol.

As far as going out is concerned though, I guess it really just depends on when people are ready and where we think we should go. Like I said I'd rather not be at InNOut, but I'm not so sure about a steak house either. I'm trying to save as much money as possible and just the gas going down to SB, then up to WA for the Picnic in a short while is going to really hurt. Freebirds seems like a pretty cool place, I looked at what they were online and their nachos and big burritos are ginormous. I think theyre open 24 hrs too....

On BayE30 El Torito seems to be the crown favorite so far.

                        Sounds cool.
In&Out is right next to our hotel, it'd be very convenient for us.
But friday night bimmerfest is huge there, might not be too many spots.
We can go to IHOP next to the hotel. Then could go back to the hotel and chill in the parking lot sharing cars.
I assume most are staying at the Ramada right?

We also need to organize a r3v roll-in to the showgrounds to ensure E30 grouping!! But that we can get going on Friday's dinner conversations, etc.

CAN'T WAIT... gotta start polishing now.

i say our hotel Sandpiper be the meeting point for all e30's, then roll in together. since most of us are there already + its really close to the fair grounds.
