Thats why i want a head count to see if i can make arrangements. Also found another place today thats closer to the diego peeps. Its called Old World in Huntington Beach. Don't know to much about that place. The pictures look promissing though.

My grandfather and uncle always go to Alpine Village so yes its for old people. But they were born in a village outside of munich and if its good enough for them, its good enough for me.

Hmmm, I don't know. I have a feeling the parking will be packed. And I really think there may be a problem with loitering in the parking lot. Not so much the people attending but the people running the event.

We shall see.

I called Alpine Village and they said the would not have a problem for us arrangeing a car meet. Just need more info as far as # of attendess, drinkers, and eaters.

Alpine village may be fun then. Either way it should be somewhat neutral to everyone. San Diego cats are always down to roll up to our neck of the woods. We just need to give them a good heads up.


Now I was discussing the monthly meet schedule with Mr Edwin and I came up with two dates for the next two meets.

We could do the oktoberfest at alpine village on the 27th of September. That should put us in a good position for alpine village because its when their oktoberfest is going on.

The othe date I came up with was the 25th of October. This date, the meet will most likely be held at the Plant in Van Nuys as usual but the actual location is TBD.


But I think alpine village is a great place to set one up as long as its chill with them. And Nigel, if you want to call them and let them know a rough estimate for the number of people, I would say 40 cars and 50-55 heads. Just to be safe. We've never had that many cars but this meet has been getting bigger and bigger everytime so the 40 number should be a pretty good starting number.

Eating and drinking will probably be about the same number as well because I know that when we have the meet at the Plant, In n Out gets straight bum rushed once everyone shows up. There may not be a lot of beer drinkers if they ask about that but I know that Chris, Mariano, JESSE, and myself are more than down for two or twelve beers.


So this sounds good to me. What does everyone else think???
