I'm going to go on a hunch here and say that the power top is broken as well.

When I first saw this car on CL a month ago the price kept jumping around and changing. It went from 5k to 6k and now to 3995?

You can always tell when it's a 3rd party seller or dealer because they can't figure out how to store the top correctly, which prevents the hatch from fully closing.

Thats a good deal. The interior appears to be in very good shape, and the bumpers have their paint still. Power -> Manual top conversion is $25 in used parts and an hour of your time, so no worries there.

Actually in the pictures it looks more like a broken power top, they don't have latches, the motor keeps the lid closed, and if the motor isn't engaged (when something breaks) then there's nothing to keep the lid closed.
