Free auto-x for all csulb students!

Well maybe not free... haha, but if you join the CSULB racing club, we're talking like less than $50 a semester for multiple auto-x events that will be held in one of the parking lots on campus.

    taken from myspace.com/csulbracing:

These events will help to hone our members driving skills both on and off the track. Eventually, however, it is our goal to participate in wheel-to-wheel competition, possibly nation-wide, and to acquire one or more team cars. It is also an objective of the club to act as a community for "Car People"; a group who will share their skills and knowledge, a place to share common interests in all things automotive, and we hope that it will be an opportunity for fellow Gear-heads to get together and work on cars with like minded people. To accomplish these goals, we need dedicated members to help the club grow.

Here's an opportunity to test/hone your skills for a FRACTION of the price of a track day. Please contact me with any questions.

I'd probably be down to spare $50 duckets a semester!

As of this week, it's still on for thursday @ 2pm. Nigel, I forwarded you an e-mail that's being sent out to everyone signed up. From the e-mail:

Also, it would be helpful if everyone who CANNOT MAKE THE MEETINGS would send me suggestions on a better time to meet so we can get better meeting turn-outs.
I suggest anyone interested to shoot an e-mail to csulbracing@gmail.com to get added to the mailing list, as well as visiting myspace.com/csulbracing and adding yourself as a friend to see important updates.
