Is this the same RMS that was run by Osh? For people considering buying tunes from Osh, I would read up on bimmerforums about all the problems people have had with him. Blown motors etc.

Ok, don't buy a chip. Do whatever makes you happy. But come to the Dyno Day to see what we're really about. I mean, I'm not here to cheat you guys or to make a fool out of you, or lie to you. I am trying to provide for my fellow e30 comunity. I think what I'm putting together is actually a great thing. Come by and hang out, eat some bbq, get some pics taken of your car. We will now be video recording all dyno runs as well as profesional photography.
Come by and see what RMS is really about guys!

Its no secret that customer service and follow-up maintenance work and fixing stuff that is RMS's fault is dismal. I know from many many friends experiences and these are people who didnt know eachother. All Ive heard are bad things about RMS from a whole spectrum of people who have no reason to lie and are good friends of mine who have no reason to make things like that up. You say they are under new management, thats good. I dont badmouth someone unless I have personal experience or have heard from more than one source the same thing. Some people are unreasonable and some people just expect too much. But Ive heard over and over from different reputable people that they have horrible business practices and do not offer a lot of support when their stuff breaks. Ive seen a lot of my friends go through a lot of pain dealing with them. I dont feel I should edit my thread in the least since its a true and honest gathering of experiences that may help future customers and what they should expect. I can link to MANY threads through the years complaining about their customer service and support if youd like. RMS is one of the few companies Ive ever heard of that has had FAR more bad reviews than good. And it is especially true with RMS. I have nothing against RMS personally so I have nothing to gain by saying this, and it takes pretty special circumstances for me to say such things about a business because I dont take that kind of thing lightly. So Im not just aimlessly willy nilly spouting off at the mouth like lots of other people do without any basis for doing so. Im not the kind of person to badmouth a business without good reason. And Im sorry to be the bearer of bad news but try researching RMS's reputation in the online community. At least until a few years ago, it was horrible. Hopefully things have chaged. I say all of this with all due respect.

No harm meant by my comment. I have no personal experience doing business with RMS other than installing a supercharger kit on a friend of mine's e36 m3.
I just have read a good number of posts on other forums about people who had trouble with the company in the past. It could be a whole new RMS now I just wanted to make sure people were aware of the past.
I wish I had a shop near me that would put together something like this for e30's. Sounds like fun.Comment
