Damn, you're leaving that early? How far is Mesa, AZ from Santa Barabara? I remember it took me 7.5 hours cruising at good speed to get from LAX to Tuscon. I can't imagine that your drive will be any longer then 10 hours... :|

Glad to hear that you are going to come.

Well we're here now, it took us a little more than six hours to get here.

Bimmerfest is more than just a single day event for some of us AZ guys.

For me, it's a full blown vacation.

I look forward this year to actually get to meet a lot of e30 guys as well as fellow r3v'ers.

Showing as "showers possible", hope it doesn’t actually hit the fields. Otherwise we are going to have an interesting mud show.

If you're gonna drive that far, you might as well make it worth your while!:pimp:

Just spoke with the GM of the Polo Fields. As for now the event is on. She said to call back tomorrow afternoon for further word on the weather.

However, if it does rain hard enough they may have to cancel the event!

                        Everyone pray for no rain!!!

it just depends on how much rain is acceptable, hopefully we'll all get in there and settled down if it does end up really coming down. but knock on wood, hopefully it'll miss santa barbara.

Hey. The Ground Control guys have aligned the truck and are leaving 8 am tomorrow. We plan to get there in time to drink Miller High Life on the beach. We will be at that bar with the pool tables on State Street tomorrow night, so please say "hi".

We will have a booth and tables indoors on Saturday with new cool stuff, some of it even for e30s

Just thought I would share this tid bit...

I scoped out the registration numbers on the Bimmerfest site, and currently E30s are the #3 most registered group, nearly second... and totally outnumbering most other classes. We shall see how this turns out in person.
