Hey guys, I was up about 15 miles by mount wilson and the road was ICE.
I was in my dads 4x4 tacoma and got stuck without chains, spun out and all, got out of the car, slipped a couple times, had to wait for the snow plow guys to come down with their beds of sand, threw sand under car for traction. Was stuck for 15-20 mins and then got down.
Oh and there were big chunks of ice/snow on the roads which would eat our front bumpers.
This was posted from another member, but no worrys we still have other locations near by. :)
http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USCA0742.html. Looks to be clear on Saturday . By then im sure the road will be cleared up by the park ranger, We will go up and see the conditions, take pics. We will not go crazy around here, once we get to a safer and dryer area we can do watever we feel.
