yeah at lowes will work but its up nto you guys as to what time because high noon is really bad lighting for pictures. Probably more toward 3 or 4 when the sun is starting to go down would most likely be better for pictures. I'm not a photo guy but thats just what I've heard

Then bring the eta. Its in inspiration to mine, as im in the middle of a plastic swap onto my 86 eta.

As far as the Cross... We should just meet up somewhere and drive there, as taylor said i'm pretty sure it doesn't have an actual address.

Perhaps cruise PCH. There are some cool canyons inland past where my house is.

Yes, high noon pictures are a snooze. late afternoon/ sunset would be the best for dramatic cross pictures. Alternatively foggy mornings create nice diffused light also :)

Maybe we can figure out a drive down 101 or something and maybe we can dip off on the 150 and take the back roads through Ojai and then back to the cross. That's a fun road and great places to stop off for pictures and a lake in the background.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I just picked up a 8gig card for my DSLR so ill have plenty of room for shoots. If daniel goes im sure he'll bring along his nikon stash also.
