1 Day in Vancouver

I'll be in Vancouver all day Saturday. Any suggestions on what I should or should not do? I'm thinking we'll check out music in Gastown, what else?

Afternoon on Granville Island & eat lunch at Go Fish.
Check out Yale town also for good eats and trendy places
2 drives:
to Horseshoe Bay lower road Marine Drive return upper levels and go to Cypress bowl on the way back, incredible view on a clear day
to Whistler ski resort spectacular highway 3 hour return

or instead of whistler, drive halfway to squamish, porteau cove. its a great stretch of double lane winding highway
