Looking for a carwash!?!?! srsly why is it so hard?!?!

    Hey guys,

So after moving to downtown Van, I realized that coin-op car washes are nearly impossible to find! It seems as though they are all those "auto spa" BS.

Can anyone recommend a decent coin-op car wash? as well as a decent shop where I can do my own work(I have the tools and parts, just no place to do the work).

Thanks in advance for the help

If you're downtown, the 499 Broughton St. building (where the community center and cul-de-sac are) has a car wash space next to the parking entrance that is accessible by anyone during normal hours. Just bring your own hose. It's free (and covered!).

        another option

        ... more than 13 months later ...

I usually go to the coin-op at Fell and Hastings.
$2 for 3mins to pressure wash the car yourself. I go when the car covered with the rotting fall leaves or when I want to wash the underside clean of the road salt.

Never knew about the spot on Broughton st until I read about in this post. Going to check it out tonight.

If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!
