Looking for a Mechanic or shop in Montreal

Hey Guys my friend who lives in Montreal Quebec just told me over lunch that she paid nearly $1,000 dollars to have her alternator replaced by a BMW dealer!!!
Can you believe this??? I replaced my alternator with one I got from the forum for $25 with shipping, did it myself in under an hour and I'm no mechanic. They charged her for 5 hours at $115 per hour plus parts. If I go to Canada I will go and punch the service manager in the face or perhaps one of you guys can do the honours.

So if anyone in Montreal has a mechanic they recommend let me know.

I know you guys are going to say never send a woman to a dealer/shop etc.

Yeah, that's crazy if it is an alternator on the e30. Some other models come with crazy stuff like liquid cooled units that may justify that kind of price.
