Music Requests for the E30 Picnic (84-91)

We'll have a proper PA at the Picnic this year for announcements and use for the Featured Car presentations.

In between, I've asked the DJ to play music from 1984 to 1991. If you can't figure out the significance of the years, please sell your E30.

So go ahead an list any requests for the DJ. I'll show him the link if there are any requests.

My first request will be Sammy Hagar "I Can't Drive 55" (1984)
    Lance Richert '88 M3, #35 PRO3, i3 etc.

I won't be there, but I'll suggest the Pixies, Talking Heads, Jane's Addiction, Sonic Youth. There's a lot of good metal that could be played, but I don't think that would go over well with a large crowd.

Not sure if a song is 84-91? Wikipedia it to verify.

Bonus if you can provide the Youtube link to the video:

From your screen name, I was expecting an early Metallica suggestion :)

"Red Skies at Night" or anything else by The Fixx. "I Ran", Flock of Seagulls

and of course, Hall and Oates, "Big Bam Boom"

Maybe some Duran Duran as well. I bet I have 300 or more CDs of "80's Pop"...but all we really need to get this party started is some MJ!

                          Closing SOON!

                            Thriller MJ, oh yes.

Or maybe Beat It for the single young men in attendance. ;)
