Do we have a meeting time/place set for either Eugene or Salem? If we are expecting to meet at 5:30 at Jantzen Beach, we need to leave Eugene at about 3:30 in the damn MORNING! I will be there though. Us old people are tough.
EUGENE PEOPLE! How about meeeting at the Shell station (note: might be something else, but it is 24 hour and NOT AM/PM, but directly across the street) on Beltline, directly east of I-5. Easy access back on the freeway, decent prices on gas. At about 3:00 A-motherfucking-M
You fuckers better show. I will come to your house and pull up your shrubs and kick your dogs. I swear I will.
Luke

LMAO, I thought it would be bad getting up at 5:00.
Sheeeet, I have to wake up at some gawdawful early morning hour to make it to Portland to crash at someones place, or drive straight to maybe James' place in WA, with enough time to have fun and sleep and get up early enough to continue on from there to wherever. Yikes....
So who is gathering in portland to leave in the morning to James' place (I think?) to meet, then to the picnic thingie. Not sure if I want to skip that step or not.
I still have a shitload to do too :|
Some isnt pictured but what I have done/will do before I leave:
H&R sport springs
Bilstein sports
Eibach rollbar kit (maybe, if I want to bother reinforcing the rear stuff b4 I go)
Tierods
Balljoints
RTRS Offset urethane CAB's (What started this whole mess, my stock ones were shot)
Front upper strut mounts (Rears done recently)
Sparco strut bar
Maybe a chip, JimC or MarkD...not sure yet.
Cabrio top storage lid shocks
Alpine CDA9835 HU
CDT EF61-NEO (6.5" very very thin) Front speakers, no rears
Unknown amp - Havent purchased yet
Oil!! Looong trip for me.
I hope anyway that I can get my stereo stuff done too...
Some of these are just boxes with the old parts in them, like the springs and shocks....And well, basically thats it. Ive put together the rear suspension, the front struts, but still have to put everything back onto the car. Then deal with my sound...
Well i'm waiting for a couple of days now, after taking off the tie rods and control arms we realized that I need to rubber boots/boot clamps before i can put my tie rods on.
I also decided not to install my new sway bar bushings until I replace the sways. I am however going to replace sway links/mounts front and back since they are part of the process of taking things off and putting them back together.
Still to do:
Go to dealership and buy 2 tie rod boots and clamps.
Go to machine shop and have CAB's pressed in Re-assemble front end, including...
Re-Install CAB's
Re-Install Control Arms (with new mounts)
Re-Install Tie Rods
Re-Install Strut Tower (already got the new stuff put on)
Re-Install Brake Calipers
Dissassemble back end and reassemble it
Remove springs and install new ones
Remove shocks and install new ones
Remove sway links and install new ones
I started at about 11AM today and i'm just sitting down and writing this at around 9pm
Although, it took an hour or two to go to sears and get a crows foot and a ratcheted wrench for that damn control arm nut. OH MY GOD, that thing is such a pain in the ass. i'll have to post a picture of my darling device later.
So i'm kinda stuck until monday to go get parts. Working tommorow and taking monday off.
