The guy who owns this was telling me how this engine set-up cost him $35k. Also had a $17k paint job, and the car's costed him well over $100k.
    Such an amazing car!

I am so pissed - I forgot about this. I had seen the thread a few months ago when we were planning our trip to Seattle.

Then, Saturday we went down to the LeMay musuem and the glass blowing musuem...then drove around and spotted a few E30s...

then remembered...when I mentioned to my wife I forgot...she said she assumed I just wasnt pushing her to sit through a car show (since it had been raining)

    damn, damn, damn

Glad all had a good time - sucks to hear about the driveshaft hitting someones E30

I probably have one of the stockest 4-door 318i DS E30's...
    totally unremarkable.

I did find one picture where it wasn't behind someone else's car.

I took the majority of them, but I snagged a few of my car from others, as well as a few I thought were really nice from this thread. I tried to keep the theft at a minimum.

This was the first picnic i've been to and i have to say it was an absolute blast! I'll definitely be coming out next year, hopefully this time with no speeding tickets! I also want to thank everyone who put this event together, I won an IS lip from GPS and a raceskids hoodie (fits perfectly), along with a few magazines i picked up. It made the trip from BC and the speeding ticket in snoqualmie totally worth it!

I took the aldergrove border since i don't live in vancouver, it took me ~30 minutes. If i had taken the sumas border the wait was ~45minutes. Not surprised peace arch had such a long wait, everyone and their mother probably went across that day :P

Thanks for picking my car out of the litter of beautiful E30's at the picnic. Cute kid, love the t-shirt, my 3 year old son got one too. :)
