Any local guys help out with the names of some hotels nearby (within 10-12 miles) that are decent? Planning on a convoy from Van.B.C. and need 6 or so rooms.....

what day is the caravan going to head up? I was thinking about getting a hotel in mid OR on either the way up or down, so i can go to the air museum where the spruce goose is but due to my summer classes i may just drive up and down w/o stopping.

I'd like to leave the bay early Friday morning. FredK may be joining us and driving my other e30.

I plan to leave the bay area around 4am. Passing through Vacaville area by 5am is my goal. Might also try a non i-5 route through Portland due to typical traffic jam frustrations.

Anybody think that might jive with their driving schedule? Nate, I would love to roll up with you and Fred. I just wanna be early to avoid as mich Portland hassle as possible.

205 would be a better route, but either way is gonna be fucked at around 5 pm on Friday.

If we leave around the time frame I mentioned and avoid long delays, should be in Portland in the 2pm area. Maybe 3pm.

Traffic in portland lately has been 2pm till 7pm. You can always take the coast, and come back to i5 through Longview washington
