Ok, so I just narrowed this down for me.

Miami -> Atlanta -> St.Louis -> Kansas City -> Salt Lake City -> PNW

You can run the idea over google maps. Is everyone cool with that?

My fastest route actually goes through St.Louis, so I'm game for that. It's 18 hours from me, which is almost 1/2 the trip for me... I could actually use St.Louis as a rest stop.

So on the topic of where we can meet. If Erick and trash meet up in atlanta, and me and pierced meet up in memphis we could all meet up in St louis. This adds 1 hour to my drive and 2 hours to pierced drive. but it keeps the route strat forward for everyone. this is just a start to the planning.

Well i have a aunt that lives just south of seattle and she would kill me if i didnt stay at here place. But i might be interested on the way home. I have to stop in portland anyway.

If anyone need a place to stay on the way there or the way back let me know. Lodging and food at no cost, if your interested

I'm down to look at that option. Right now I'm more concerned with the route itself.

I see the 3 guys in the SE being in AL, GA and LA. Gotta find a place for everyone to meet up.

So does anyone actually want to hang out at my place for a day or two before we head up to the picnic? the drive from my place in oregon is really relaxing.

You'd have to meet me in GA. I dont have the route with me right now, but it's straight north past KY before I start heading west. Cant recall exactly where it crosses through, I know it crosses all the northern states from the Great Lakes to the PNW.

Going through LA would add 3 hours, and we'd be heading through Dallas, then north to KS, then to Salt Lake City, and towards the PNW.

IMO. Just a heads up and I am sure you guys might know this when my family lived in LA traffic was a nightmare any time of the day. I think it best to stay away from huge cities.
