its a little over 3 hours away. Usually there is a huge caravan the morning of anyways.

I was thinking maybe even two nights at my place or something, we have a 3 car garage big enough to detail the crap outa our cars aswell.

And if you guys REALLY want... we can organize a big pre-picnic BBQ or something.

That sounds like a good idea. I wouldn't mind. We gotta start a tentative schedule for everyone.

Remember that the picnic is a 2 day event this year (the 7th and 8th). There are plenty of free beds up here for all of you.

Yea, as soon as you get to the PNW, I'm pretty sure you'll be set for free accommodations. I'll be staying at my parents' house in Gig Harbor, because it's a bit closer than Bellingham. They've got a motorhome that could sleep four, but that's if someone is comfortable sharing a queen size bed in the back w/ another person. Lots of parking there, too.

We have a drumset, guitars, bass, keyboard in case anyone is interested a post picnic jam session. Also, xbox 360 w/ COD4 and Forza 2, among other games. I'm sure people have after parties planned, but it's a thought.

Yeah, I figure a night at e30trash's place and a short 3 hour drive Thursday/Friday to somewhere in WA would be nice. I can picture myself NOT wanting to drive much during that weekend :p

Does Hertz rent E30 verts in Seattle?

I asked my wife her opinion of my joining the E30 PNW southeast caravan. Her comment; "I think you should fly to Seattle and rent a car." My comment; "I don't think you can rent E30 verts in Seattle." LOL

lol I considered doing something like that with TJ. Source out a $1000 e30, go half and half, rock it out to the picnic, raffle it off there to try to make as much money back as possible, and just fly back afterwards.

More crazy hospitality on my part :)...

I have a beach cabin just outside of olympia, we could stay there for the weekend if you guys wanted to, its about an hour drive from the picnic, which i think could be bearable due to the fact that we will probably spend our full days up at the picnic.

here's a map, if you guys wanna do this, let me know!

Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

oh jeez that link is bad, just type in directions from Olympia to see the route.

Olympia is an easy drive to the picnic. I'm sure we'll also be meeting at Griot's again for the big drive up!

So maybe stop over Thursday night or so at your place and then Friday afternoon or something move over to the cabin in Olympia?

Yep! seems like it would take a good chunk out of the traveling price for some of you guys.
