    E30 Tech Day Feedback

Thanks to all those who attended the Tech Day on Saturday. I had a great time and I think everyone else did too. In effort to improve upon this next year we would love to hear everyone's feedback on the day.

    What were your likes?

    What were your dislikes?

What would you like to see next year?

    Thanks!

Likes: Very laid-back, you could walk in and out of the sessions.

Dislikes: None really, you guys did a fantastic job.

What could be better: Booklets on how to get into racing such as PRO3 or SpecE30? I had a hard time retaining all the info because it was kinda thrown at me.

      One brake session ;)

I think adding another maintenance session would be helpful.

      -Changing fluids, cooling, diff, tranny
      -Suspension replacement
-general common fixes to problem areas

I agree wholeheartedly. For those of us that haven't owned these cars for too long, it would be nice to know what WILL break.

Yea, a session on all the electrical PITA things that will go bad. i.e. power antanea, window switches, etc. Maybe have a door opened up to show how to replace a power window motor?

Maybe an E30 101 anatomy session where someone just points at everything and explains what it all does. Have the trunk lining out, the panels under the dash out, to point at all that stuff.

Agreed. James and I already talked about that. Just do one of each. It would allow time for more sessions and two aren't really necessary.

Guys you all are doing a great thing for the e30 community with this picnic each year. Glad to see you thinking of next years improvements and additions already. Keep up the good work

If you could get him yelling into a bullhorn I'd make the drive.

Okay NOW I have heard everything.

I am planning on an e30 restoration session next year as well. I had a great audience at my timing belt session though!
