THANKS! I've been very successful at keeping it from scraping... thank goodness. My car is finally coming together. Viet just picked up some E36 seats yesterday and we're looking at motors. Then a paint job in January-ish, HOPEFULLY. Thanks again guys.

It's from the 740's from 85-92. We got it from the junkyard here out in Stafford, VA... I think it was like $20. You have to cut the ends because it's a little too long. :)

I completely understand. I'm "search inept" lol... I know the feeling! Good luck finding one! They're pretty easy to come by. It wasn't an enormous amount of work... maybe an hours worth, but that included taking off/remounting the old/new valance.
