Any interest in splitting an E30 parts car?

I found an E30 parts car that has a few parts that I need. It is a 325 vert, post face-lift (don't know the year just yet). No title, but the car is currently complete. It has sat for a while (about a year, I believe).

Car is on the MD side of the WW bridge. I had planned to just buy a few parts off of it for my 88 (bumpers, one seat, muffler), but if someone wants the motor/trans, wheels, shell, top, etc., it might be cheaper to buy the whole car, plus I hate pulling parts in a lot or field.

I could handle towing arrangements through a friend if someone would want to split the costs. If you want it towed to your place, I can come down to grab the parts that I need and you can keep the rest.

I live all of the way out in WV and don't want to tow it all of the way out here, plus most of what others might want would be big stuff that is a PITA to ship.

I really don't want to give too many details out in the open, because I really want the bumpers and seat (both bumpers are already the same color as my car, and the seat is the same color very sport bucket to complete my pair) and don't want the parts to slide out from under me.

Please PM me ASAP with your contact info to discuss options.

He wanted $750, but I was going to offer $550 to tow it away and be done with it.

      I figured maybe $600 total.

Okay, so here is the deal...he wants about $650-700 for the whole car. No keys, no title, but from pics it looks good.

I know I could part it out and make money (and get a few parts for free), but I am short of funds to buy the car.
If someone wants to take a couple BIG items in exchange for paying $250-350 toward the costs, I can buy the whole thing.

If not, I will just buy what I need, but it seemed like a good opportunity for someone to grab a complete 5-speed swap, or a set of weaves, or any number of other big items.
I don't mind paying more than half, but I only have $400 to contribute, not counting paying someone to tow it.

If someone wants to cover the other part, I'll be happy to talk about what parts you would want.

              Vert, so 2-door.

It has plastics, but that is the main reason I want the car, so I am keeping those.

I have pics available. PM me your email and I can send them.

No keys, but from the looks of the pictures, things on the car look good. Blue sport interior, 5MT, M20B25, weaves, white in color.

Other than the lack of title, the car seems good. If it was a sedan or coupe, I have a friend who would use it as a track car.

Anyone with an ETA could swap the drivetrain for a nice upgrade.

for verts, the prize things are top condition, rear window, and the seals on teh top and the seals around the car. Other than that, only if someone want the drive train, the vast majority of the vert is insignificant in price as far as resale value simply because of low demand.

If you want someone to jump in with you on this, I would imagine some pictures and specifics in order for this to happen.

Sorry, when I opened this thread the first time, I must have somehow scrolled past the first three posts and only read your description in post #4. I was after two good doors for a late model two door. Thanks anyways.

What other specifics might be needed? I have listed interior and exterior colors, motor/trans, mileage, interior trim level, wheel type, and have stated which parts I want.

Additionally, I have offered to send pics to any interested party.

I don't want to post pics in the open because someone will end up stepping in and trying to buy it out from under me. All I really want are the bumpers and muffler, and I have a good deal worked out for them, but I don't want to drive 2 hours and be under the gun to get the parts pulled in a hurry. I'd rather have the whole car and take parts as time permits.

For someone wanting to do a 5-speed swap or wanting weaves, this would be a good deal.

If my buddy can find a shell with a title, he is going to split it with me, but I need to move fast before the seller starts parting it.

Anyway, as stated before, I have 7 pics available, but would prefer not to post them here.

damn I could really use that 5spd swap, but I have to fix the e36 first.

Send me an offer on it. If it gets me close enough to the full price, I can buy the car and pull the swap for you.

I REALLY just want to get the parts that I can use for my half of the price. For about $350-400, a person could get quite a few of the big parts (not all, but a fair share of the list below):

                          M20b25 (and harness)
                          5 MT swap
                          Weaves
                          Spare subframe(s)
                          Spare brakes and/or strut housings
                          Interior/seats
                          DME
                          Cluster
                          Vert FSB
                          OBC
                          Dash? (Don't know condition)

If someone goes half on it, we just divide and make it fair. All I really want are the bumpers and exhaust. There are other parts I'd gladly keep, but it would be easy to divide the parts fairly.

I gotta find out what arts I still need for the e36, if I have to buy another steering lock in addition to the tumbler then I won't have enough money. unless you want to buy it and I can pay you back over the next couple weeks.

I just texted the guy to try to work a deal.

I have $400 cash, and if he will let me pay the rest in paypal (linked to my CC), I will probaby buy the whole thing, if I have no co-buyer.

I would still prefer to split it, but I know that there are more than enough parts on there to break even if I buy it and part it.

Once I am on my laptop (as opposed to my blackberry), I will host a pic or so and post here.

I just don't want someone to see the pics and go find his old ad (where I saw it a while back) and buy it out from under me.

He had no price and the thread died a slow death.
