    e30/bmw work

Hey everyone, spring time is here and if you're interested in getting some mods or work done now is the time. As always I am offering my assistance in the area. Really isnt any job too big or small, specialties include 24v cam swaps, vanos replacement/rebuild, m20 head replacement/timing belts, cam replacement, e to i swaps. Any suspension, brake, electrical, or mechanical job you can think of. Have most weekends free in april and should continue to have such through spring/summer.

you can pm with questions or details

I still need to make arrangements with you on my Seta/B25 head swap.

I have 7 weeks to get it done. Should I email you about it?

Hey man I am working on seeing if I can make this happen. April is going to be tough cause I am going to be busy, mainly with personal stuff. This Saturday I'm going to sterling for an interview. That next weekend I am trying to fit in installing a clutch on my e30, weekend after is the NASA race at Summit then I'm off to VIR the next weekend.

I can still do Sundays and may make an exception on the NASA race. Now you are looking to build a 2.7 seta? It is probably one of the easiest set-ups to put together and get all your parts compatible. m20b25 head, with m20b27 super eta bottom end, i intake, either i harness or super eta harness and i computer.

Where do you stand with it now? If you need to assemble the engine that can be done in a few hours then the electrical work is pretty simple and it should all be done in a day. Is the motor out of or in the car?

Sundays are fine for me, particularly after April 15.

I am doing the 2.7i/327i build with an Seta 2.7 bottom wnd and the m20b25 head. It is going in my 88 325 Seta, so I already have the motronic harness in place.

I THINK that I have all of the parts gathered, and the 2.7 is still in the car.

What I'd like to do is to be sure that I do everything possible to be sure that I have everything that we'll need, because I don't want to waste time on store runs, and there is no dealership close for any dealership-only parts.
Could I call you one day to let you know where I stand and you can tell me what else I might need?

Well there is a possibility I may become a va inspector, but if I did it would probably be awhile from now.

Springs/shocks no problem, driving lessons-I still need a few more but I've definitely learned a lot about how to drive safe fast and smooth.

Patrick call my cell to set something up, basically to me it sounds like were just doing a head swap an making sure that all parts are acounted for. 301-302-3248

It was nice talking to you on the phone last night. Most of my build info is in this thread:

As for the 327i-specific stuff, here is what I have:

                      325i 380 DME/ECU
325i 885 head, including, inner/double valve springs and "i" cam
                      325i intake manifold
                      325i throttle body
325i throttle position switch (should be in there somewhere)
                      325i intake bellows
                      325i air flow meter
325i 3.0 fuel pressure regulator (Should be in there somewhere)
325i vacuum line from brake booster, to bellows, and to throttle body
                      325i Gauge Cluster (already installed)
                      325i Alternator
                      325i airbox

                      I also have:
                      VC gasket
                      head gasket
                      new head bolts
Timing belt (with tensioner) and all accessory belts
                      TB and IM gaskets
                      T-stat (and gasket)
                      waterpump (and gasket)
Cam flange o-ring and camshaft seal

I may have more stuff, but I ordered from 3 different places.

So you have all the tools to do front and rear shocks/springs?

I have the bilstiens but i can't decide on springs yet.

Also, what else is recommended replacing while swapping this? i think my control arm bushings are in OK shape but I would have to look again.

Quickest, biggest things to replace on the shock/spring swap are rear shock mounts, front strut mounts/adjustable or fixed camber plates, front control arm bushings can be done rather quickly. Also sway bar mounts/links, bushings its all up to you.

If you want to stay low but firm best bet is Ireland stage 3, otherwise I'd say H+R sport.
