I've been beat by a m20 vert, a m20 coupe, and a auto m20 coupe. I'm at my lowest point lol. But I have something in the works as I type this. Give me a few weeks.

I expect something new when I get back. If I have a well running e30 before you do then you're doing it wrong!

There definitely is something wrong with it. I could keep up with him in my alpine auto car.

haha ok guys. I'm guessing there's something very wrong with ean's motor then.

I know with a chip it would be a great run. I also know I can drive, so my car is definitely at its optimum fastness (relatively speaking of course).

....and research more on compression in general since im gonna be looking into turboing my m20.

on another kinda random topic though. with the past couple weeks getting warmer and warmer, and me only having my car since april, im wondering if rising coolant temps are normal in stop and go traffic. when i get out of work at 5pm in dc and have to drive home my temp gauge gets to 3/4 hot and has stayed there so far.
I remember seeing ppl with mishimoto radiators or whatever theyre called and im wondering if these really do helo the m20 or if i have another problem i need to address

Ean's motor is running on 120 compression across the board when it should be 190-200.

He's at almost a 40% loss of power!

Time for another swap! At least now most of the hard work and part sourcing is done. I've been wanting to do a compression test on mine just out of curiosity thanks for the reminder.

no way my m50 is a major difference over stock and feels way faster than devons freshly rebuilt m20b25 with war chip miller maf k&A motorsports intake straight pipes and a 4.10 lsd. I drove my car and then his car and even let him drive mine. Completely different experience. plus my vert is 300lbs heavier. I wanted to run you the other day but I had to get gas plus I had a tire blow... come down one day we will film it... vert vs vert

i dont have the WAR chip yet, just the miller chip to run their MAF conversion, gonna order war chip tomorrow.

but yeah with the work i put into my car, and driving his swapped car...no comparrison. i burned out in his at a dead stop dropping the hammer in 2nd gear...WHAT? i might do a m50 swap simply because i've felt what that motor can do in a e30, plus my car would be lighter than his vert.

anyway, stock m20 to stock m50, m50 takes it.
