It was a great drive up, but a cramped ride back. For those of you who don't know me, it was my car that decided to be a typical e30 at the wrong time.

I thought you looked familiar....Was expecting the black car..thats what threw me off.

No worries. Black car will be back up in a few weeks. Blew the head gasket back in february, just got all the parts to start reassembling.

Whats this guy's name on here? We caravan'd back together and had a good run. He has a chipped m42 and I have a chipped eta engine in an 89 325i with all i parts (but not an i head, head and bottom end and all internals are stock eta). We both had full tanks of gas but I had a passenger.

We did one run from around 70 mph or so. We were dead even for a while and I eventually started slowly pulling away then shortly after that we let off. I was surprised at the results being that if there's anywhere the m42 should beat me it's at the higher speeds.

Read the details though. My car is not m20b25. I bet me and him have close HP numbers, it's a pretty fair match. Glad to see that i'm making significantly more power than a stock eta.

No, I plan to buy another e30 to cure my thirst for power and swap it. And no matter what I do it will be NA, i'm not a fan of FI. This car is actually really fun to drive and makes for a great DD with good gas mileage.

Ehh... I had some weight in the trunk (set of wheels and a few other things) too but yeah, it was a good run. I guess I ran out of torque by then or maybe I'm just a shitty driver (first time doing that) lol

But I'm a little surprised too when you slowly pulled away, I guess it's time to blow that motor and pick me up a m50. :up:

lol Really? I guess I wasn't paying attention. I was just cruising and hoping my car wouldn't break down since my check engine light came on lol. It wouldn't have matter anyway, you would have raped me.

A swap would be nice. I may possibly do one since I might have a place to work on my car now.
