Raleigh, NC area informal meet Nov 12th

We're having a little get-together at my place just outside of Raleigh, NC on Sat Nov 12th. This was started by some of the E34 guys on another board, but we are welcoming all BMW fans to join us.

There's no really set agenda, we are planning to arrive around 12 noon (or later), then hang out here at the Bimmer Farm for a while, check out each others' cars and talk BMW's, maybe even a little bit of wrenching. I've got some E34's and E30 parts cars, and I'll have my shiny white "we're dealing" parts salesman's shoes on!!!!!

Sometime around 5pm or so (whenever it gets dark), those interested will be headed to a local BBQ joint for some Eastern NC pork BBQ, BBQ + fried chicken, Brunswick Stew, Hush puppies, sweet tea and banana pudding. (Bring some cash, they do NOT take credit cards.....$10-12 should cover it).

It's a family-friendly meet too, so bring the kids. I'm bringing my 318is and my wife may bring her 525, but my son will be there either way (he's 2). Look forward to meeting some of the Raleigh-area gang!

No, this is not Shadetree, but I am friends with Truett, Dietrich and Steven at Shadetree- in fact Truett told me I should open a shop and call it "Shadetree South".....

Anyway, we are about 30 minutes SE of Raleigh (Shadetree is about 20 minutes N/NW of Raleigh). I'll post up some directions once the date gets closer. If you miss out on them, or you have any other questions, please feel free to email or PM me.
