I'm pumped. Time to get my race car shoes on.

good, so if yours makes it ok and mine falls apart, I'll need to borrow that thing

But really, the Eta had 4 guys driving at each event last year (so, like 40 runs per event on it), and it's supposedly pretty much stock and appeared to make it through every event fine. Hell, that car won RWD stock and RWD prepared for the season.

I think you'll be fine. Hopefully the snow tires hold up. Jack the pressures for sure. I'll have a spare A/S on a bottlecap if you end up needing it, and you should probably bring a spare beater wheel/tire as well.

SCCA Rallycross next Sunday 3/18 @ Summit Point

Just an FYI, since there will be at least three e30s running (and about 25 Subarus and a few other random cars), in case anyone wants to come out and run or watch. My early 318, Spencer's late 318is, and a few other guys who run a stock eta will be there trying to beat the AWD monsters and the RX-7 that is the fastest RWD car out there last year.

To run you need to be an SCCA member or you can buy a 1-day membership. Pretty sure you can sign up day-of, but most of us register in advance at DLBracing.com. You can run a bone-stock car and should be fine (there is a "stock" class), as long as you're not slammed. Else, should be interesting to watch.

For those unfamiliar with it, here's a vid of rallycross at Summit. It's like autocross, but on dirt/grass/gravel/mud and the runs are about 3x as long, and you get alot more of them :)
