There's a 2-day rallycross event at Summit April 21st and 22nd.
First day is a driver's school/test and tune. For anyone who just wants to come out and drive around in the dirt and see if you like it (without dealing with the competition part) I think it's like $30 (+$10 if you're not an SCCA member). We'll have 3 e30s there again. Me in mine. Spencer and Stuart in their 318IS (if they can get it there this time!). And Scott Crowner and his 4-man team all driving the ETA. Should be good times. So come out and give it a try. Any stock-height (or very mildly lowered e30) should do fine with clearance.
Or just come hang and watch. Much more fun to watch than autocross IMO. Last event a couple dozen non-running Subaru guys came out to watch the Subies run and hang out and said they enjoyed it.
