Advice re: m20 or m52 or s50 swap?

Hi Guys,
My m20b23 (180k) is smoking...badly. It's blue and pretty much a good puff on every stop/start. I am now considering the obvious options -- 1) m20b25 or 2) M52 or 3) S50

I will not be doing any of the swap myself and would like to find someone local who has done m52 or S50 swaps. As far as the motor, I do not care that much about speed, but would like to get as much power as possible -- if price is nearly the same, why not? My budget is stay as close to $ 2k as possible. I know there are many threads re e30 swaps, but I wanted to get some local (DC area) advice.

So, any advice? any recommendations on DC shops?

M50 or m30 for that price. If you can manage to find all the parts you need for an s50 and the motor for 2k then do that.
