ASC/ABS Control Module Help
My 99-528i BMW both ASC and ABS lights came on after starting. In the cold season they takes longer to come. A friend of mine who has used several BMW's offered to replace the ACS/ABS control module for me, but after replacing it he failed to make the lights go off. he then took the car to BMW in Sterling, VA to programming. I got a bill for $322 for the job but the lights refused to go away. They said it needed another control module which is located under the dashboard. The final price would be another $1600. I've never heard of a second control module in the 528i but my friend insisted there is another main control mudule. I really appreciate it if any one who is familiar with the 528i tell me this is true?
