    East Coast Craigslist Finds Thread

I know I'm not the only one who checks CL daily even though I'm not going to buy anything. I figure maybe we can help out the people who might actually be looking for a good deal to snatch up, or just post cool or rare stuff. It would help to cut down the individual threads for a single CL ad too.

Here is the ad that gave me the idea for this:http://norfolk.craigslist.org/cto/3103554961.html

BMW imported directly from Sicily via U.S. government cargo ship. 316 model, 1.6 liter, 4 speed manual transmission, with 200+ kilometers. Still has European specs with rare single head lights. Complete restoration on interior and exterior. Lead paint used while in Italy to ensure longevity. New racing rims with Kuhmo tires (driven less than 300 miles), Replaced exhaust manifold and muffler for high performance driving, silencer available to reduce noise. Performance Gauges installed a year ago for reliability. This vehicle can easily be transformed into a racing or vintage show car. I'm in the military and will be shipping out in less than 18 months and won't be able to take with. She needs a good home with a good owner. Many local bids but no one that fit the profile. I can be reached at 305-619-5439(c) anytime.

"no one that fit the profile?"

I would think "the profile" would be "anyone who has the money" lol.

I don't know, I can understand wanting to sell it to someone who appreciates it

Something I would have in an instant if I had a place to keep it and a bit more money. If fact, I would trade both of my E30s for one in good shape. http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...131731568.html

          Mmmm, Euro 635!

Wow, and another M30 with a stick. Not super rare, but as cheap as you can expect.

              318is

Going to see this tomorrow night. Anyone seen it/know anything about it? Never heard of a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder before, but I'm psyched about the "most beautiful brilliant red paint."

Just finished fixing up the 318i for my fiance, so it's time to get myself an e30 - turns out they're a lot of fun.

it's not a 2.5 if its an e30 original engine, lol.

maybe he put a Subaru 2.5 in there, lol....

88 m3 8500. Does say it isn't the original engine though so maybe not even s14 but still. I'm curious about it

Buy it, use it as an engine donor, sell the shell/other bits, make up the difference, or don't!

I actually sent a quick email about that to the owner. I wouldn't be surprised if it was already gone. Seller said they were sick of answering emails and to just call. This was less than 12 hours after it was listed. Definitely seems like a great deal though

106K Mile 325i with no accident reports in White Marsh:

Someone PLEASE buy this so I don't. He's got a FS thread on R3V here too:

He's also willing to consider trades.

Been talking back and fourth, but I don't think its my time to get into another one of these...he's been very receptive, sent me photos and I ran an AutoCheck too, it all adds up. I just don't have the time to do what I want to make it a manual. I need a daily driver that doesn't need more money pumped into it.

How about we quote the ads so we can see the cool things after the add is deleted?
