ive gotten to the point where most of the things people say on craiglist just is wrong. so my questions is does that have a b35 or b34 seller says it has a b34. i just want to make sure cause im start to weigh my options for a m30b35 swap.

Hmm.. Well those got the B35 in '88. It's possible there were some sold as early as '87 tho so I wouldn't rule out the possibility.
Just ask him to take a pic of the engine for ya then it will be obvious.

It is an auto. :( but it is an 88, so it has the b35. I am not sure what the 87s have. I will want more for the car, but I want to get rid it pretty quickly. Getting another car.
