im considering just swapping my old m20 out of my 87 325is from one that actually runs.. rebuilding it with brand new parts will run me about $800 so if anyone has an engine in great shape ready to run for less than that, let me know because I know the wife will be excited to hear I can fix it for less. and, excuse my ignorance but I have no clue if I should be asking for eta or super eta, so to those of you who know, please enlighten me

Are you swapping the engine into your 325is? If so then you want an "i" engine. The eta engine isn't a direct swap unless you modify the harness.
