Thank you guys all for the help and consideration. Honestly, I'm feeling a little fooled by my mechanic and the R3v community has helped pull the wool from my eyes, I can't be more grateful for that. I am currently working out a deal with exodus to get me into another E30, but if things don't go through then the car will be posted here.

Moved to Mid Atlantic for people to help. And yes the car is worth more then $100. Cause scrap it will bring $300-$350. I'm 3 hours away from you for help. But looks like Exodus_2pt0 would be your best bet here.

this, you've pretty much turned this into a for sale thread....seriously considering

also willing to help revive it if you choose that route

I wish you were closer. I'd totally hook you up/help you out/buy it from you if you were to decide that was best.

That said, I wouldn't even worry about the tow. It has a knock. It's an M20. Drive the bitch home knock and all. Then swap the engine. Less money cost to get it home to go to a replacement engine.

This is one of those choices that you'll look back on years later.

As previously posted in this thread: the easy road isn't always the best road taken.

This. You've got members coming from everywhere interested in helping you swap motors. You should easily be able to swap motors in a weekend.

    Exodus I pm'd you.

I think right now I'm more interested in getting it off my hands, whether that's parting it out, or selling it as is to someone. I'd rather get into something intermediate and then move on to getting a loan for another newer car.

I totally agree with M-tech. Find some buds and swap out that engine. In the mean time, find a bud that you can park it till your ready to swap it. Easier said than done? Yeah, maybe. But if your not too partial on keeping it and want to get into something new"er", go for it. A good shell is worth something.

Mods drag this to the Mid Atlantic region please. It makes more sense to have this there.
