They're getting tougher and tougher. A bunch of shops shut down VSI because they started timing them and such.

There are a few backwoods places here, but they're few and far between.

We don't have emissions here so all my cars are exempt. ^_^

VSI is pretty lenient. I just can't stand the SRS and ABS light rules. That's bullshit.

Virginia State Inspection. I work at a shop so we abbreviate it a lot. We're pretty strict too. I work here and have a hard time getting some of my shit to pass.

I just got mine done this past weekend at the dealership my friend works at. He'll hook you up if you throw him a bottle of Maker's Mark. Only problem is it's down in VA beach.

Around this area, the guys at Goodyear in Burke Center have overlooked a few issues on past cars, but nothing too serious.

Cardinal Shell and the Exxon Across the way go by the rules.

The Exxon in Burke Center does a VERY complete inspection (car on lift!), but I take my WRX there because I want to make sure everything on it is in good shape on a lift, and I knwo the guy will check out what I want to have checked out.
