Hi everyone I’m looking to get a good show of BMW's a car show im hosting. So far i have a few 2002's to include my 24 hours of lemons tii and a 2002 chump car in progress entering the show. My E30 will be the childrens art car for them to go wild with child safe paint. Please post here if you plan to attend so i can get an idea on the head count. The 11th Logistics Readiness Squadron Booster Club is hosting their first auto show on 18 May from 1000-1600. It will be located on Joint Base Andrews at the base theatre parking lot. It will be free for spectators. There is a $10 entry fee for each car or motorcycle which can be made in cash the day of. Over $500 in prizes and trophies. It will be a judged event with classes to include Stock Imports, Modified Imports, American Built Stock, American built modified, Classic pre93 stock, Classic modified, sport bikes, cruisers, best in show, best interior, best engine, Truck. The show will be a family event with free children's entertainment to include bouncy castle, face painting, children's art car painting, and children's bike show. Food will be on sale including steak sandwiches, Italian sausage sandwiches, cotton candy, and popcorn. For non-ID military holding spectators or entries we will need your first and last names, Drivers license state and ID#, and date of birth by 7 May sent to sl0ride@live.com this includes the driver and all passengers.
This will be on a military instillation so will make it clear there will be no guns, drugs, or reckless driving on base. You and your vehicle will be security screened by Security Forces; current proof of insurance and registration will be needed. Anyone who is trailering there vehicle to the show there’s no need to have the trailed vehicle(s) registered or insured. The 11th LRS booster club is a morale club for our Squadron of 172 Vehicle Mechanics, Vehicle Operators, and Supply troops. The proceeds will fund unit morale functions, pay for care packages sent downrange, help pay for retirement gifts, and going away presents. Help support your troops and have a good time.
