Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix 7/20 and 7/21

Anyone making it out this year? Saturday is qualifying/car show and Sunday is race day.

It's gonna be a scorcher but hopefully the thunderstorms hold off.

I know I'll be there on Saturday, not with an E30, but it'd be great to see some E30s on German hill to contrast with the hoards of Z3s and E46s that normally populate it.. and don't even get me started on those damn MINIs..

'Registration' is something like $20, so thats for risk-free event parking on the golf greens next to other fantastic old cars. Plus its a charitable donation anyway, and they feed you at the Shop n' Save tent up on the central hill.

Totally awesome weekend, a little difficult to get in and out of the show areas but overall a nicely organized event. BMWCCA put on a hell of a show for their members. Huge tent, huge show field and the Spaten biergarten. I will definitely be going to this every year instead of bimmerfest, way more entertaining.

Good seeing you there. I think it was the best Vintage yet despite all the clown shoes everywhere.

I don't even need to go to these things anymore, since Ana just takes a billion great photos of everything cool there :)

Lol. She's been known to burn up an IPhone battery in 10 minutes flat.

I had a great time at the GP as usual. Good to see some different cars like that clean m60 swapped e30.

Glad you could make it, I saw you on Saturday night! Well, your car.. we were headed out at the time. It's always fun seeing one of those 'internet cars' in person!

Dave, I've been thinking about that Alpina C1 2.3.. I forget the name of the guy who had all of those cars.
