    NOVA Emissions Exemption

I DD my e30 so it is not registered antique, but supposedly it is still exempt from Virginia emissions due to being 25 years old or older. Question is, do I have to do anything to qualify for/document that my car is exempt? Or is the VA DMV just smart enough to know how old my car is based on VIN and everything will be all good? The DMV website is pretty bare on this issue, it says who is eligible for an exemption but nothing else. Does anybody know?

    Thanks

My registration renewal came up for my 89 this year and said nothing about emissions when it would have otherwise. You don't have to do anything. w00t!

    Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!
